part time (20 hours per week) licensed social worker. The program
offers health and social services, therapeutic and personal cares
for adults with memory loss who need day time support. The position
is responsible for providing direct social services for participants
and families including assessment, case management, education
and support services, as well as promoting the program to referral
services. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefit
package. Qualified candidates will have a Minnesota Social Worker
license with a minimum 3-5 years related experience.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an effective and efficient state entity, one consistent with the national model.
- It is of utmost importance that the state organizer is easy to communicate with and responsive to time sensitive demands.
- Take concepts suggested by the national staff and materialize them into programming appropriate to the Minnesota constituency.
- Work in tandem and share duties with the state Manager, and garner her approval and management on all tasks.
- Much of the organizer’s time is spent in correspondence with a combination of constituents, the project’s state manager, and the national office.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Minnesota based organizations.
- Write weekly field reports for the national office.
- Send regular email blasts to state constituents.
- Be a spokesperson for Minnesota Vote, Run, Lead as well as the White House Project at in state events and meetings.
- Cultivate relationships with a diverse spectrum of emerging women leaders.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work in a professional and non partisan manner
- Will be organized, self directed and creative.
- Will have demonstrated success in community organizing.
- Will be adept with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have some amount of experience maintaining databases.
- Initiate, perform and deliver independently driven projects,
- Will be able to multitask and manage several projects at one time.
- Must be willing to hold flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends.
- Will have a strong sense of teamwork and overarching commitment to women’s leadership
- Must posess a successful track record of working with women from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Have access to own transportation and be willing to travel throughout the state.
Salary: 30-35K
